CIVAS 3rd Anniversary Peak Celebration

In celebration of CIVAS 3rd Anniversary which fell on November 25, 2008, a series of events were held under the title of “One Health 2008”, carrying a general theme “One World One Health”. Peak of the celebration was on Saturday, December 20, 2008.

On that day CIVAS had held a Seminar titled “One Health Concept to Overcome Zoonotic Diseases” for people from the medical and veterinary medical profession, a Coloring and Drawing Competition themed “Living Healthy with My Pet” for kindergarten and elementary school students, and finale of the Science Quiz Competition themed “The Animal World Around Us” for senior high school students of Bogor city. The seminar was designed to introduce the concept of One Health to people from the medical and veterinary medical profession while the competitions were created to increase public knowledge of animals and zoonotic diseases.
