3rd General Assembly of Center for Indonesian Veterinary Analytical Studies (CIVAS)

On December 12 to 14, 2014, the Center for Indonesian Veterinary Analytical Studies (CIVAS) held its 3rd General Assembly in Hotel Bumi Cikeas, Bogor. The general assembly is the highest ranking deciding-body of the organization and held every 3 years. Seventeen of 31 fixed members were in attendance. Organization constitution, strategic plan, new directive board and report from the previous board was discussed and decided.

Organization activities for 2012 to 2014 were reported by M.D. Winda Widyastuti, M.Si, DVM on behalf of the existing Directive Board. The report included conducted and ongoing activities and financial development. The report was accepted by the assembly with minor revisions. Revisions were also made to the organization constitution to keep it current. A 6 year strategic plan was drafted, revised, and legalized to guide future organizational activities.

The general assembly elected Tri Satya Putri Naipospos, M.Phil., Ph.D, as Chair of CIVAS Directive Board for 2015-2017. Elected members of the board are Noeri Widowati, M.Sc., DVM, Dr. Medvet. Hadri Latif, M.Si., DVM, Andri Jatikusumah, M.Sc., DVM, and M.D. Winda Widyastuti, M.Si., DVM. Appreciation was given for retiring and previous members of CIVAS Directive Board 2012-2014: Didin Sudiana, M.M., DVM, Memed Zoelkarnain Hasan, DVM, Chaerul Basri, M.Epid., DVM, and Pebi Purwo Suseno, DVM for their hard work and dedication.

Ridvana Dwibawa Darmawan, DVM, Riana Aryani Arief, M.S., DVM, and Erianto Nugroho, DVM were elected to be candidates for CIVAS Executive Director 2015-2017 by the general assembly. After the assembly was closed, CIVAS Directive Board 2015-2017 elected Ridvana Dwibawa Darmawan, DVM as the new Executive Director for period 2015 to 2017 through a closed internal meeting.
